CHRISTMAS CAMP DAY 1: THURSDAY, DECEMBER 28 - ALTERNATIVEValleyView Tubing has been changed due to weather
This is the alternative plan for the day:
We'll spend the morning in Loft Town then have lunch at the church. Right after lunch we'll head out to the Lindt factory outlet for a selection of chocolate treats. Then we'll head over to the indoor areas of the zoo to see the animals especially the Polar Bears in their element!! We will also have non stop hot chocolate available on the bus as we go. Should be good.
Times: 9:00am-4:30pm
Drop off between 8:15-9:00am and pickup between 4:30-5:15pm
What to bring: (still need)
Warm parka, toque, scarf, boots, ski pants, mitts. Please bring a filled water bottle for the day.
CHRISTMAS CAMP DAY 2: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29 -ALTERNATIVEThe sleigh ride has been changed due to the weather.
We'll spend the morning playing hide and seek games and Loft town play. We will still head over to Peppercorn Restaurant for lunch and we'll take the kids for a treat afterwards. Then we'll head back and play massive games of Hide and Seek, have a movie going with popcorn and more.
Lunch at Peppercorn is included.
Times: 9:00-4:30
Doors open at 8:15 and close at 5:15
What to bring: Warm outdoor clothing: parka, ski pants, mitts, boots, for the ride. A water bottle for the day and optional snack
CHRISTMAS CAMP DAY 3: TUESDAY, JANUARY 2Skating, Tobogganing and treats! ($35 for the day)
We are back after a weekend of family and New years festivities. Tuesday promises to be a great day as we head to St. Vital park for tobogganing and skating. Choose one or bring both along. We’ll have free flowing hot chocolate and end the day off with a visit to Stella’s
Bakery for fresh baked treats! Lunch included.
Times: 9:00-4:30
Doors open at 8:15 and close at 5:15
What to bring: Skates and/or sled, warm outdoor clothing (parka, ski pants,mitts, boots, scarf). A water bottle for the day and optional snack
CHRISTMAS CAMP DAY 4: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3Ikea Lunch & Hide 'n Seek Winnipeg ($35 for the day)
On this day we’ll visit a brand new attraction in the peg. Hide ‘n’ Seek Winnipeg is the city’s newest indoor playground.
Climb, slide, video games and way more to keep us entertained for a few hours. Lunch at IKEA included.
Times: 9:00am-4:30pm
Doors open at 8;15am and close at 5:15pm
What to bring: Warm outdoor clothing for the ride. Socks. A water bottle for the day and optional snack
CHRISTMAS CAMP DAY 5: THURSDAY, JANUARY 4Portage Aquatic Centre & Boston Pizza ($40 for the extended day)
This extended day includes a visit back to Portage Aquatic Centre. We are excited because they just opened after 2 years of reno’s. The WAVE POOL is back!! After swimming, starts g, hot tubbing and wave’ing we will head for ‘all-you-can-eat’ pizza supper at Boston Pizza Portage La Prairie. Lunch included as well.

What to bring: Swimsuit and towel, warm outdoor clothing for the ride. A water bottle for the day and optional snack
CHRISTMAS CAMP DAY 6: FRIDAY, JANUARY 5The Real Escape ($35 for the day)
New to DDC! We are so excited to spend the afternoon at Real Escape Winnipeg. They have 4 different escape rooms set up for us including ‘TheCastle’, ‘Prison Break’,‘Bank Heist’ and ‘Nuclear Meltdown’. This is an exclusive booking for DDC & tailored for kids. Finally we’ll finish theweek off with a DDC tradition: Slurpees!! Lunch included.

What to bring: Warm clothing for the ride, water bottle and optional snack

Please note that our staff is fully trained in First Aid/CPR. We adhere to a Trained Staff to Camper Ratio of 1:8
Ages: For kids entering Kindergarten to Grade 7
Kids bring their own lunch, unless otherwise stated. We provide a snack time in the afternoon
